for Orchestra (3222 4331 Timp. + 2 Perc. + Strings)
Program Note: This piece was created as a part of the Sam and Mary Austin Fanfares program series. I was premiered as a fanfare for the MSU Symphony Orchestra concert "Songs of Love and Destiny" in April 2025. The idea of this piece is that it would start out sounding very classical, but partway through it would switch over to a big band style piece surprising everyone.
